Calligrapher, Tazheeb and Ebru Artist Hesna Tahhan Filmed at his Home in Gaziantep

On Monday, May 16, the shooting was held with the calligrapher, tazheeb and ebru artist Hesna Tahhan, who settled in Gaziantep with her family from Syria’s Aleppo city. The mother of four children, Tahhan, started calligraphy after immigrating to Turkey. The artist, who advanced the art of calligraphy by taking lessons from her husband, one of the important calligraphers of Syria. She decorates these works with the art of tazheeb and ebru. Tahhan’s presentation of his artistic and immigrant experience during the shooting was a rich encounter.
